Penegra, India’s version of Viagra
Sexual medicine is one of the scientific fields that have made huge progress in the past few decades. Both men and women have been offered solutions to various issues, thus improving the quality of their sexual lives.
One of the most common problems of men, one that makes them unable to have sex is erectile dysfunction. In this day and age there are many different drugs created to resolve the aforementioned condition. Penegra is one that keeps getting more and more popular because of its great success rates.
Created by Zydus Cadila Healthcare Ltd, a pharmaceutical titan founded in 1952, Penegra is ranked #2 in patients’ preference.
It contains the same ingredient that Viagra does, Sildenafil Citrate, a powerful inhibitor of PDE5, which is short for phosphodiesterase type 5. A normal penile erection follows specific stages. First, the male body produces nitric oxide in an area of the genitalia called corpus cavernosum after receiving sexual stimulation. The oxide then binds to receptors of an enzyme called guanylate cyclase. This procedure creates cyclic guanosine monophosphate, also known as cGMP. However, there is another enzyme, the PDE5 type described earlier, that degrades the cGMP quantity created in the first stage, not allowing the man to achieve an erection. This is where Penegra steps in by blocking the operation of PDE5, not allowing the cGMP concentration levels to drop until the sexual intercourse is complete and even, for a short time after it.
The side effects of Penegra are similar to the ones of all the other drugs that are used against erectile dysfunction. Headaches, flushing and nasal clogging are documented in the most cases of side effects, but there have been patients that experienced shortness of breath, difficulty in breathing, sudden change in blood pressure and even a heart attack.
This is why men have to be careful and check all of the contraindications that their doctor or the drug instructions mention. This is a general rule that needs to be followed before taking any kind of medicine, not one that is targeting the effectiveness or safety of using Penegra.
Penegra is India’s response to Viagra and so far it is doing exceptionally well. In a very short period of time, it has managed to increase its popularity so much that it is now considered to be one of the most widespread erectile dysfunction drugs in the entire world. This is the only proof needed for every man who thinks about trying it in order to have a pleasant sexual experience without even the slightest problem.
